Is a Stomach Exercise Worth its Work?

The top priority for anyone to lose weight is to have a slim stomach. However stomach is the most difficult part of the body to get tonned and shaped. It is very difficult to reduce the fats covering the stomach muscles unlike in the other parts of our body. Ironically, when we overeat and store fat in our cells, the stomach is the first place they go to. They form the so-called “love handles,” those layers of fats in the stomach area that a lot of people find to be ungainly and unattractive, and for good measure. Besides not looking good on you, stomach fats are also a health hazard. Studies have found that people who have more stomach fats are more prone to hypertension and heart diseases.

Fat storage is basically a survival strategy of our body. By storing the fats in our abs, which is less strained in any our daily activities, our body is able to store energy in the form of fat for future use.

Now the big question is does crunches and other forms of abs exercises help to remove abdominal fat? Well not really! coz any exercise for that matter are known to shape and tone your muscles and not necessarily to remove the fat that surrounds those muscles.

The best way to remove the excess body fats is to perform cardio vascular exercises and strenth-training routines. Consume less calories and fatty food inorder to minimize the amount of fat stored in your system. The amount of calories taken each day should be in proportion with the amount which is expelled. It is a well known fact that stomach fat is the last to get burned in any exercise, training or dieting techniques. wieght lifting and strength training helps to burn fat more effectively even after days of training session. Even during the rests period fat-burning mechanism is continued and metabolism of fat is enhanced.

Work your entire body or a section of your body such as your stomach to burn those stomach fats. It is always not recommended to opt for cosmetic surgery such as liposuction coz it not only removes fats but also the fat cells. Removal of such fat cells from your stomach and continuing with an unhealthy lifestyle and eating habits will have an adverse effect on the fat storage in your body. It caused disproportional distribution of fats resulting in out of shape body. Hence it is always wise to reduce fat by exercising your abs
